A while ago I was contacted by Ziaja about their new baby skincare range. I have tried out the soothing cream before but I was very keen on using the shampoo and bath soap. Up until now I have only been using Aveeno bath and cream for my four year old and 20 months old. Both kids have dry skin since they were born. Matthew even had eczema but that has cleared up now.
Ziaja baby & kids lubricating bath (€6.49 / 370ml)
A new baby’s extra-delicate skin requires the purest products and should be bathed using a soap-free formula. Ziaja’s gentle lubricating bath wash is formulated without soap, colourants or preservatives to help protect babies skin from rashes, dryness and other skin condition. The ultra-mild formula gently cleanses the skin and leaves a light moisturising protective layer to prevent dryness. Gentle enough to use every day, this moisturising soap free wash naturally softens and soothes baby skin. Dermatologically and allergy tested – can be used on new-borns from day one, babies and toddlers.
Ziaja baby and kids shampoo (€6.49 / 270ml)
An everyday use shampoo that gently cleanses hair while respecting baby’s sensitive scalp. It leaves hair soft, silky and easy to brush, without causing any irritation. Enriched with chamomile extract and provitamin B5 to keep the scalp moisturised, soothed and healthy. Tear-free and colourant free formula. Recommended for babies and children from 6 months onwards.
As mentioned above we use Aveeno bath on everything. Whether it’s the body or the hair. It’s the most gentle cream for us up until now. I have used the new Ziaja kids shampoo on my four year old son Matthew. It is very easy to apply without him making any fuss.
Ziaja baby soothing cream with D-panthnol (€3.49/60ml)
This soothing cream contains 10% D-panthenol to treat baby rashes and areas of dry cracked skin on the body that need extra gentle care. The deeply moisturising formula softens and nourishes baby’s delicate skin by creating a barrier to keep skin protected and hydrated. Recommended for babies and kids aged one year plus (and also great for adults suffering from skin irritations).
Chloe’s skin seems to be specifically dry on her upper arms and her legs. I am combining Aveeno cream and the Ziaja baby soothing cream daily now. If I don’t use it at least once a day, her skin will easily go dry again. So I need to keep on top of it.
I am giving all my readers the chance to win a Ziaja baby product bundle for themselves. This includes the baby & kids lubricating bath, baby & kids shampoo and the soothing cream.
The giveaway will be open to residents in Ireland only and will run until 20th October. Good luck everyone.
Disclaimer: I was sent the new baby range for the purpose of this review. As always this is my honest opinion.
I have been using Oilatum Junior on my son
I like the baby bee range, their products smell really good too
Sounds nice and not too expensive either

Never tried Lush on the kids before. Is it good on dry skin?
We’re big fans of the Ziaja bath range for smallies, but every so often I love to head into Lush and pick up the Ickle Baby Bot – it’s full of lavender so generally helps sleep, and he loves to watch it fizz.
