I don’t think I ever made it official on my blog, but hubby (I call him that anyway because fiance sounds weird) and I are getting married next July. I’m super excited. We have been engaged since October 2011. Simple reason why we didn’t get married yet is the usual thing… money issues. We are in a fortunate position now and I am very grateful for that, which means we can finally get married.
I am that sort of person who loves organising stuff, keeping on top of everything, keeping track and don’t do anything last minute. A wedding is the perfect project for me besides my blog of course. I had the venue, music and photographer booked since April/May. Better earlier than too late. The venue we picked is a very popular one. It will be the ceremony location at the same time.
So after booking the main things, it is onto themes and dresses now. I have been looking online for several shops which are doing reception decorations. By chance on Facebook, I found one that is located in Ireland. It’s called The Favour Shop. They have beautiful stuff. It’s not just for weddings. It’s a wedding and party boutique. So right now, for example, they are stocking Christmas supplies daily.
I was delighted when the favour shop got in touch to send me some of their wedding products. I was able to pick which one I was interested in.
I really loved this sign on the website. It was like love at first sight and something I was exactly looking for. You can probably guess what could be happening at the wedding then. This sign is made of chalkboard and it costs only €7.99.
This little vintage bunting is great to hang onto the front of our table at the reception. It has “Mr & Mrs” printed in white on small triangles. The bunting is 1,5 metres long and costs €7.99
I have way more decorations like that in mind. For some reason I am just not for a simple white wedding and whatever the venue is supplying you with. It means that I am going to purchase a few more things on their website soon and keep them all in a box ready to go for July 2016.
Make sure you check out their website. You might find something cute for yourself, even if it’s not wedding related.
Disclaimer: I was sent these products for the purpose of a review. The opinion and photos provided are my very own.

Thankfully I am not the only one … I also call my OH hubby because fiancé sounds weird to me and boyfriend sounds like we are in our teens lol. Anyone moving on I love all these little details. We aren’t getting married for another two years but book marking this website for when I am into my planning. 🙂
That bunting is great – and affordable too, I think you should take it on your honeymoon too and hang it in your room! Hope the rest of the planning – and of course the actual day – goes well x
