We have been selected as one of the bloggers by Britmums to try out the new improved nappies from Pampers. We were challenged to see how different these nappies are and how absorbent they can be.
“From the very first time your little one uses the New Pampers Baby Dry™ you’ll notice that they aren’t like our previous nappies. Their new technology helps distribute wetness evenly into 3 absorbing channels and lock it away better, babies can experience more comfortable sleep, and not be woken by a wet bulky nappy. In fact they are so dry, Parents and baby will be left wondering ‘where did the pee go.”
First of all I was really impressed how cute the packaging was they sent on.
Inside I was presented with a nappy, a Tommee Tippee bottle and scissors. Ready to start the home challenge. I also received a pack of nappies. Unfortunately they are a size 3 which means they are no good to me. Chloe is currently in size 4+ or 5. I might pass it onto somebody who needs size 3.
So I took on the challenge with the Tommee Tippee Bottle, some water and the scissors. I have to say I was really impressed by the absorbency of the new nappies. There is certainly a difference between them and the previous ones. As we didn’t receive the right size for Chloe to try at night, I couldn’t try it on herself and do the real test with this kit. But luckily I was involved in an Irish trial from Mummypages too and was sent size 5.
I generally change her nappy around 6.30pm/7pm for bed. She doesn’t get another nappy until she wakes up which can be anytime between 7am and 8am. Obviously it also depends on the amount of water she drinks before she goes to bed. I did find most mornings her nappy is pretty heavy. When I put on the newly improved one it was only half the weight which was brilliant.
We will definitely approve of the newly improved Pampers Baby Dry nappies and buy them when they make it into the stores.
