Not so long ago I have been in contact with a company called Eat Well who specialises in products for kids like lunch boxes, table trays, reward boxes and also a product called Lunch Punch. They gave me the opportunity to review it.
This was just the best product I have ever received that is in use at least every weekend whenever the kids are at home to have their lunch. In crèche they get warm lunches which I don’t quite agree to but if all children get it, then I can’t be the odd one who is totally against it and nobody else has complained about it yet.
Anyway, the Lunch Punch is being used ever since we received it in the mail for for my 3 1/2 year old son Matthew. I have been trying to get him to eat sandwiches for so many months. It can be quite exhausting. I cut them in triangles, which worked for a while, but he soon got bored of it and decided he doesn’t like them any more. I went back to squares which didn’t have any effect on him at all. For that reason I gave up on sandwiches, until Lunch Punch entered our house.
What is Lunch Punch?
It’s a food cutter, bigger than a biscuit cutter, which is designed in a way to leave as little bread behind. You basically make the most of your sandwich and let’s be honest, most children want us to cut off the crust of their sandwich anyway.
Lunch Punch is easy to cut through 2 pieces of bread. Fresh bread obviously makes it the easiest and the bread is still nice and fluffy.
The product is dishwasher safe, BPA free, PVC and Lead free. It is made from FDA-certified food-grade plastic and of course 100% recyclable.
Lunch Punch comes in 4 different sets. Each set has 4 different cutters. The one we chose was “Vrrooom” which includes 2 cars, a train and a plane. You can also get sets that include jigsaw pieces, princess themed stuff and animals.
The Retail price on them is £12 which is reasonable in my opinion. I mean if it gets my son to eat sandwiches, then hell yes I would spend that £12 on it.
So for the last week in a bit I have been asked to make train, car and plane sandwiches. Today he topped it all off and actually ate 2 full sandwiches. I was baffled. Normally, without these cutters, you would be able to get 2 squares into him and he would be finished. It’s nice to see how a simple shape cutter gets your child to eat their sandwich. For me it means lunch is so much easier and stress free worrying whether he is going to eat this time or not.
Disclaimer: I was sent this product for the purpose of the review. As always this my honest opinion and my own photos.
These are a great idea, I use cookie cutters.
These look like a lovely idea! I think my nephew would love them.

I used to do free cutting but this saves me some time now
Ah we have some of these too and the little ones love it. Makes packed lunches a little more annoying to prepare but its worth it if they actually eat! xx
I love this idea, we actually use cookie cutters and just freehand when cutting my sons sandwiches. This would be much easier haha
What a cool idea! Tyler is obsessed with trains so this is ideal, anything to help get them to eat is a good thing! X
I like the sound of this product a great way to make sandwiches more fun.
My youngest (19 months) wont even look at a sandwich and its so annoying. I may try these in a few months when he is older to understand. x
What a brilliant idea! When we’re at home my boy won’t touch his sandwhich unless he’s starving, but when he’s at preschool he eats it no problem? Definitely would give this a god to make sure his lunch doesn’t go to waste!
Thats a great idea! I struggle getting my little one to eat too so this would be great, thanks for sharing x
