The Little One Tag

This is a post with a twist. I found this on somebody else’s blog the other day but only got around to write it now. There are so many blogger tags out there but this one for a change is actually about your child.It’s called “The Little Ones Tag” which was created by “The Secret Life of the Baby”. You are more than welcome to join in as well, I am not going to tag anyone specific. Here are some questions that my 4 year old son Matthew would answer as follows:

What’s the best thing about being a 4 year old?

I have mummy and daddy wrapped around my finger at the moment. When I cry I get my way but I think they aren’t happy with me sometimes. I noticed they want me to be a bit more grown up and not act like a baby. I am trying my hardest but I am getting a bit frustrated at times when something doesn’t work out for me.
The best thing about being four is to play all day long and ask for food on demand.

And the worst thing?

The discipline mummy and daddy put on me. Apparently there have to be rules. If I don’t get my way, I can get very grumpy. If I am bold, I have to go in time which is the naughty step. I am not a fan of that at all but in fairness I do calm down after that then. I only like sharing toys with my sister half the time.

Favourite toy?

At the moment I love Transformers Rescue Bots. I have three and my favourite one is Chase which is the police one. Mummy and daddy promised me that I can get another one when I sleep in my own bed but I have to get 10 stickers first. I only have two at the moment *sad face*

Favourite thing to do?

I like doing many different things. Colouring in and playing bingo are two of my favourite things right now. I hope mummy and daddy can buy me a bingo game because I love playing it with the girls and boys in creche.

Favourite outfit?

Tracksuit bottoms. They are so comfy to play in. Mummy is not happy when I put a hole in one of the knees though but she said it is okay.

Favourite television programme?

Rescue Bots all the way. Daddy sings the intro when it comes on the TV.

Favourite book?

What the ladybird heard. A new book mummy bought me recently and we are reading it every night before I go to bed. I like when the bad guys go into jail because they are trying to steal the cow. In the book it says that their van is black but it’s not, it’s brown. The lady who wrote the book needs to change that.

Favourite food?

Beans and sweetcorn. I had corn on the cob last weekend for the first and it was delicious.

Favourite song?

Rescue Bots Theme song and Incy Wincy Spider.

What makes you laugh?

When mummy and daddy tickle me or Chloe and me play hide and seek.

Who do you love and why?

I love mummy and daddy because they take care of me, cuddle me , feed me and comfort me when I am sick. Despite them creating rules, I know it’s for the best and I am only four after all. I am still learning.
