My two love colouring. Not just the odd colouring book but picking up a page and just draw a picture. Particularly my eldest. He literally goes down every morning, picks up a page from the printer, goes into the playroom and grabs the crayons/markers and off he goes at the kitchen table. He could sit there for up to two hours sometimes.
A while ago I came across a Facebook page that does pillow which can be coloured in. The lovely girl behind this idea is Izabela. Her shop is called Colour Me Hunny Bunny. While I was browsing her page, I discovered that she is based in Tubberycurry, Co. Sligo. Another reason to support local businesses as probably most of you may know that we lived in Sligo up until 2 1/2 years ago.
It is very simple. You can choose from either a princess or a pets/sea life design. I picked the pets/sea life design because the pillow was supposed to be coloured in by both kids. Included in the pillow is also a set of special markers. This will allow you to wash the pillow if it ever gets dirty. But they are literally t-shirt markers. In case your kids want to get super creative and have all sorts of colours.
As well as the pillow, Izabela also sells colouring books for boys and girls. Her newest addition though is the doll cushion. You can find it in her shop on her Facebook page.
