Hey everyone,
I’m so sorry for the delay of launching my new blog design. It took longer than I expected. But it’s finally up again. 🙂 complete new design. Let me know what you think and what I could improve as a newbie blogger. The header is still missing though.
This weekend we went down to Dublin. The south actually. In fact county Wicklow! We went to see Matthews cousins Ailbhe, Niall, Cormac & baby Rory. Matthew loved every bit of it. He spent so much time with them. He was so excited when he seen all the toys they had. He could even take 2 home for testing for 2 weeks. 🙂 Saturday evening we went down to the fun fair by the sea side in Bray. Not much to do for Matthew but he liked the different things that were there. It was huge!! Haven’t seen such a big fun fair in a long time … I don’t think I ever seen such a big one apart from the ones you get in Germany. As it was our “little holiday” he was allowed to stay up late. Good thing about it is that it tires him out quickly too as he fell asleep perfect for the night. 🙂 The hotel was in a very handy location. Literally 1 minute away from their house! Might be staying there more often.
Today (Sunday) we just spent time in the house again and baby Rory and me had some bonding time. It was actually so warm in the morning that Matthew needed sun creme on his skin! Hard to imagine as when we got back to Sligo this evening all we could see was rain and wind! It’s just around 14 degrees. It’s mad to think how different the east and west in Ireland can be weather wise…
Matthews birthday is not long away now. I need to start organising a few things so it’s not last minute. It looks like he will have a monkey theme. We won’t be doing anything big though. He doesn’t realise it’s his birthday yet.
Guess what… I finally managed to go to the hairdresser! Just took me nearly a year. But I love it. So much lighter and not annoying in the face anymore. It’s a fringe that I can actually call a fringe too.
