It’s been over a week since I last posted the next set of questions. I have been parenting solo for almost two weeks. You honestly don’t get as much done.
Mickey Mouse is an all time favourite in every household that has young kids. We are always jumping between Disney Junior and Nick Junior. It all depends what they are currently into. Since Mickey and the Roadster Racers was released, we are back to Disney Junior. Matthew loves watching it. I have to record every episode in fact.
I absolutely love hanging pictures on the wall around the house. It makes the house so much more personal and homey. If it wasn’t for the concrete walls we had in our house, the walls would probably be plastered in frames and canvas but I am not that brave to drill a hole into the wall unless it’s a timber…
Fashion is constantly changing and as a working mum, it can be hard trying to keep up. Every season brings new styles and colour palettes, but there are timeless key pieces that never go out of style. This includes a trench, a little black dress and the perfect pair of jeans.
I really thought I would catch up with these questions last week. But then the flu hit our house and I am still in the middle of recovering. So here we are with the next set of questions…
And so we have another month behind us again. The last month has been a bit mental weather and health wise. The end of February and beginning of March the country prepared for the arrival of the Beast from the East. Nobody would have though it was going to be that bad. We were housebound for about five days.
It’s been a but quiet on the blog front this week. The flu hit the house and so I didn’t have time to catch up on any blog work. I’m still recovering but getting there. Here are the next set of questions..
We are very lucky to have our own office in the house. When we originally looked at a house, we wanted it to be our forever home. One of the key points to it, was to have an office space if possible. As a blogger you need a little bit of privacy to concentrate. In the old house I didn’t…
Again this week I am taking part in the 1000 questions challenge created by Pinkepank. I am a little bit behind still but I am slowly catching up. You can find all the other questions here, in case you fancy taking part, too. Some questions are actually really hard and it takes me a few minutes to think about the…
When it comes to choosing a family car there are many options available on the new and used markets. From a compact hatchback to a seven-seater MPV, there’s something to fit every sized family and budget. Recently there has also been a rise in the number of SUVs and crossovers and in many ways, these can be a good choice…
Snow can be a funny old thing. At first you are all excited for your kids and the youngest gets to see proper snow for the first time. Then the next minute you realise you can’t leave the house at all, other than by foot in up to 1 feet high snow. It’s great fun altogether for the oldest but…
As I am writing this, we are bracing the East from the Beast. Also Storm Emma is on its way and no one is supposed to leave the house from 4pm until midday tomorrow. Being born in Germany I think it’s hilarious how the whole country comes to a standstill. It’s simply because they are not prepared with this kind…
It’s actually so hard to keep up with all these questions that I thought I combine six and seven again. Some of the questions below, I had a to give a little bit more thought. Remember, if you want to join in, you are more welcome to do so.
Last week was Matthew’s first ever midterm break from school. He was actually really looking forward to it. Even though it was only two days, everyone had a lovely break. So much so that yesterday, when Chloe went back to creche, she was full of chats to her minder. She is never anything like that in the morning. She is…
I either have no time to write blog posts or I am swamped with them. Right now it’s more of a case I am swamped with them and don’t get the time to write them all. For that reason apologies, the next set of questions were not available until today. It was supposed to be Friday but we were away…
Totally missed this month Siblings project by four days. Unheard of. I have an excuse though. Last week it was midterm break in Ireland. Instead of sending the children to creche, we decided to take two days off and go on a mini break. It only took us to Sligo where we used live but the kids had a ball…
And here we are with the next twenty questions. I am always so excited when I have a questionnaire to fill in. Remember, if you feel like joining in, simply copy the questions below. You can find the first set of questions here, in case you missed them. I will upload the next set of questions at the end of…
Last weekend we had Chloe’s third birthday party. She doesn’t like to make too much fuss about her birthday as long as there is cake. For Matthew’s third birthday we went to the play centre but he is a lot more social than her. She just prefers to have it in the small circle so we just invited the cousins…
Not too long ago I came across a new blog series. It was actually on my friend’s German blog Zwergenkinderstuebchen. Over in Germany they call it blog parade where people take part in a series of questions in each week and link them up. The idea came from Johanna who blogs at Pinkepank. First my plan was to take part…
Chloe will soon be starting pre school. At her age we love any type of educational toy. Something that gets her going, teaches her things about the world. Mattel was so kind and sent us the new Teach ‘n tag Movi. He is such a cute little robot and both kids are having so much fun with him.
