One of the biggest challenges of updating any bathroom is turning it into a space that everyone in the family can comfortably use. And since renovations can be expensive, your new bathroom design should also be timeless. Start by working out how each family member uses the bathroom. Do you need a changing table for the baby and a stool…
This blog of mine is literally all about my little world, just like the name says. It is only right to share with you the incredible time I had at the Westlife concert in Belfast on Saturday. Westlife have been around me since I was a teenager so it is a big part of my life.
It’s been almost two weeks since I returned from my trip to Brussels. I think it is time you deserve a summary of my time over there. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a few snaps here and there already.
I know half of May is nearly gone and I should have posted this thirteen days ago. Life gets in the way sometimes and blogging isn’t that straight forward anymore. Finding the time is the problem these days.
When I don’t blog, travel or enjoy time with the kids, I love designing and decorating the house. We bought our house in October 2016. It’s mad to think that we are going to be in this house three years this year.
Last week I did something I wanted to try out for a long time. I was a bit skeptical at first but I have seen other people, including friends, getting it done before. And that is having my teeth whitened. There are so many different procedures available these days.
Interior design has come a long way in the last few years. It is changing constantly and to date it has become a bit more bold in places. Just heads up, I am no interior expert and I simply like designing our house the way I want it. Of course I read the trends every now and again and sneak…
Wow, it has been a while since I last took part in the family project “Me and Mine”. In fact I haven’t taken part in it at all this year yet. We did take family photos a few times but it is one of those who are not social media or blog worth it.
While we are here watching storm Hannah to arrive, I wanted to reflect on our last weekend adventure. The Easter weekend we had a little mini heat wave in Ireland and to embrace it, we decided to head to the zoo on Saturday… like so many others have planned.
For some people it is back to normal school drop offs this week. In Ireland we still have a week of holidays and we are not back to routines until next week. However I only took off last week so the kids are enjoying their time off in creche this week. Matthew told me he missed his little friends he…
My two love colouring. Not just the odd colouring book but picking up a page and just draw a picture. Particularly my eldest. He literally goes down every morning, picks up a page from the printer, goes into the playroom and grabs the crayons/markers and off he goes at the kitchen table. He could sit there for up to two…
We love to travel as a family. Over the years, we have traveled to Spain, Germany and the UK. So, naturally, over that time, we have picked up plenty of travel tricks that make things easier for everyone.
Today is National Siblings Day. What could be a better day to publish my siblings post for March. I used to write them mid half way through the month but it makes more sense to me now to have it the end of month (I know I am over that already), like I do it with the family photos.
Lately we had such lovely weather. Spring is truly in the air. I really hope it stays now. We had enough of the cold and wet weather in fairness. It’s time for some long lasting sunshine and lots of days out with the family.
Recently I was watching a video on YouTube from Alex who is one of the bloggers I have been following for years. She did an interview with her three year old on camera. I have done two or three interviews with Matthew to date and it is so interesting how different the answers are each year. However, I noticed I…
Last weekend we went on a short little trip to Galway for St. Patrick’s Day. It was a Bank holiday Monday which gave us an extra day as a family. When you work full time, you are trying to squeeze as much time as you can. It would have been a waste of a weekend if were not going to…
Happy Birthday To Me! This time five years ago I started this little space of mine. Honestly I wouldn’t have thought that five years down the road, I would be still here blogging about my day to life, parenting as well as my travels. A blog can be such a beautiful thing.
Slightly late with this post but I wanted to keep a memory of it on my blog anyway because it is so nice to look back on. You wouldn’t realise how much the kids would change within a year if you don’t take a photo of them on a monthly basis. I always looking back at the end of the…
Last weekend has been probably the first full fun packed weekend of this year. We have been hibernating a lot in January and the weather only started to pick up now. The wind is crazy these days. I don’t remember a day it has not been windy. So it was nice to get out and about as a family for…
Play dates are great for the social interaction of your children. My kids have had a database of play dates since they were small. Creche and school is great and they interact with kids on a daily basis but having a play date with an individual child is also very important I think.
