There is literally just over a month left before 2019 is coming to an end. I don’t have any more travel plans made. However I am super excited as I have just booked my first city trip in the new year. I am heading to Lisbon the end of January. Lisbon has been on my list the whole year and…
Last weekend we went to do some different as a family. We abandoned our evening routine and headed up to Palmerstown House Estate just outside Naas. The last we’ve been here, was two years ago when we went to visit Santa. However this time it was to to see the Wonderlights.
Halloween is well behind us now and the decorations are back up in the attic. The kids and I had a month of fun leading up to Halloween doing arts and crafts and baking. Who said you can only do this a few days before Halloween?

If you have been following me on Instagram in the last two weeks, you will notice a strong Halloween theme going on. Yesterday afternoon I added the last Halloween bits outside the house. This weekend we will be busy carving Pumpkins and going to a Pumpkin Patch.
It has been week since I returned from my trip to Madrid. I really made the most out of it because the weather was just incredible. Back in Ireland it was miserable and so thirty degrees of sunshine was just right up my street. Perfect way to enjoy a Frapuccino and watch the world go by.

During our stay in Germany, I had planned a few things that require to drive. I wanted to make a good use out of the rental car. On our last full day of having the car, we drove up to the coast. I always wanted to visit the strawberry theme park Karls up there. When I lived in Germany, we…
Dear Matthew, it is my annual post dedicated to you. This morning you woke up excitedly at 6.30am on the button. The difference of today to any other day is, you are one year older. We can’t believe you are seven years old already. When you got out of your bed this morning, you walked straight downstairs to check out…
Our stay in the newly opened Center Parcs Longford in Ireland was already a month ago. Since then I have been asked by a lot of mummy friends whether it is worth the cost. I mean, of course it is expensive, but so is a week or two abroad. It all depends on your expectations.

Continuing on with our holiday adventure in Germany last week, we are on day two which was Sunday. I did make a few plans beforehand but I also didn’t want to put the kids through a lot of traveling in the car and so we took it easy on this day and explored my hometown.
Last week we went on our second family holiday of the year. This time we left the country though and headed to Germany. I thought it was the right time to introduce the kids to my home country and show them around my actual home town.
Last week our family set off to Center Parcs in Longford Forest. The weekend before that, the launch event took place but the official opening of the park was Monday 29th July. It was a last minute break we booked to be honest. As I have been to Center Parcs myself as a child, I wanted my own kids to…

The next morning I woke up quite early. I am just so used to it with the kids being around every day and Matthew waking up at 6.30am every morning. However I did try falling back asleep but 7.30am was the end then.
As we speak, I am still on a high from my amazing weekend in Dublin with all my friends and new friends I made.

Over the June Bank Holiday we decided to visit the kids grandparents last minute. We are aiming to go up to Sligo at least twice a year. It’s nice for the kids to have a change of scenery and explore the town they were born in.
Last Friday I set off to Amsterdam with hubby’s sister. I have been looking forward to this for such a long time. This was my first trip this year where I actually spent two nights in the city but Amsterdam is easily doable on just a weekend, too.
