I am super excited to say that recently I had one of my most exciting blog collaboration since my three year blogging “career”. As you all may know, and probably seen in my blog bio and all social media channels, I am a quite an online shopping addict. When I got the opportunity to collaborate with Marks and Spencer, I…
Happy Friday!! Have you got any plans for the weekend? We have a full weekend ahead again with two birthday parties. We are also going swimming again on Saturday morning. It’s just one week from now on until Matthew graduates from pre-school. I actually can’t believe it that my little boy will enter big school in September.
Last weekend we did something super fun. I couldn’t actually believe how I never came across this place before. It’s so close by from our house. The other day I was browsing the web to find some fun stuff to do as a family because we were promised the best weather. I stumbled across “The Kildare Maze” which is located…
How was your weekend? I still can’t get over the fact what a lovely Summer we have in Ireland right now. Reaching temperatures up to 27 degrees at the weekend. It was a dream, especially for Matthew.
Well folks.. it has been a while hasn’t it? But I decided to make the effort and bring back y blog series. I really enjoy reading other bloggers daily life.
I can’t believe the Siblings project is due again this month. The month has flown by and if I am honest, I nearly forgot about it. I saw an email coming in from another blogger and thought “Oh no, I completely forgot”. I either don’t have enough to write about, or I have to much to write about.
Father’s Day is nearly upon us again. Some people can go completely crazy sometimes spending a whole lot of money on their dad or the children’s dad. For me it’s generally always just a personalised card from the kids for daddy and a small little gift.
Getting a good night’s sleep is a very important fact to me. I love my sleep and plenty of it. It can be hard when you got young children and I certainly didn’t get the sleep I had hoped for when my two were newborns. But that’s only normal, right?
“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” by Kahlil Gibran, I was nearly not going to write this post because there was not much happening at the weekend. I was away in Sligo where our second office is and worked there on Friday. We had a helpdesk night out planned for that night. I…
Parenting is a funny old thing. Do you remember what you did before you became a parent? I don’t either. What did we do? We must have had so much time on our hands. I’d nearly get bored thinking about it. Nowadays the kids keep us on our toes. Despite motherhood, I do like a bit of me time every…
I am not the biggest beauty fanatic, neither do I like much jewelry. Right now all I am wearing is a ring and occasionally when I am going out I might wear a bracelet. My mum used to love her jewelry particularly rings and necklaces. I kept them all of course.
I am a day late linking up to this project. I have an excuse though. Yesterday was a bank holiday in Ireland and rather than relaxing at home, a few friends and I went off to attend the VHI Women Mini Marathon in Dublin city centre. I’m fine, I can still walk today but my legs are definitely sore.
I can’t believe this time has actually come. My little boy who once was a newborn, a toddler, a pre schooler will now enter the stage of ACTUAL school. It is just way too soon in my opinion but I am sure he is well able for it. He surprises me every day what he can actually do I never knew…
May has been such a nice Summer month this year. There was definitely more sun than there was rain for once. We all deserve a bit of sun in Ireland after all.
Our weekend was a weekend of mixed events and adventures. After such a beautiful week of proper Summer, it was back to the rain on Saturday morning. Luckily it picked up again on Sunday. Not as much but it was nice enough to spend most of the day outside in the garden.
Summer has truly arrived in Ireland. Even if it didn’t even last more than a week. We had a whole day of rain today, yet it was still warm outside which is nice, too.
Chloe is at the age now where she likes to copy her brother in everything. She is looking up to him. Matthew has a number of ride on bikes. With a proper bike included This means Chloe can’t catch up anymore. She is too small to ride a bike and she is too slow to follow him on the Minnie Mouse ride…
Today was back to reality for me. I can’t believe the long awaited Blog On Conference in Manchester is already gone past. I have to say I am so glad I decided to go and I have already booked a ticket for the September session.
Memories become even more important to us once we have our own children. My mum has set up so many photo albums of me with her traveling, or just daily life stuff at home or in school. Back then we didn’t have the fancy technology that we have now. Negatives from old cameras had to be printed out. To be…
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. That’s what they say anyway. I do agree with it. I am trying to have a big breakfast each morning that is high in fibre such as cereal. I do get carried away with white bread sometimes though. I don’t think my stomach can take it.
